U.S. 50 Westbound Closed In Dillsboro After Semi Trailer Splits In Two

The incident happened just before noon.

(Dillsboro, Ind.) - First responders are on the scene of an accident on U.S. 50 in Dillsboro.

A semi truck trailer broke in half while traveling on U.S. 50 near Texas Gas Road just before noon Wednesday. 

U.S. 50 westbound has been shut down while cleanup occurs. 

Sheriff Shane McHenry reports the crash did involve injuries. McHenry added that one lane should be reopening shortly.
