Two-Vehicle Accident Claims Life of Carrollton Woman

The accident took place Friday evening on I-71.

(Carroll County, Ky.) – A Carrollton woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Friday evening.

Kentucky State Police responded to the crash on Interstate 71 northbound near the 39-mile marker in Carroll County around 6:38 p.m.

The preliminary investigation indicates a commercial vehicle was traveling north and was slowing for stopped traffic when a 2002 Honda passenger vehicle rear ended the commercial vehicle.

The driver of the Honda, identified as Lindsay Angell, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
