The highway has reopened near the Walton split Thursday morning.

(Boone County, Ky.) - Interstate 75 in southern Boone County has reopened several hours after a crash involving two semi tractor trailers.
The two trucks collided on I-75 in the southbound lanes just south of the I-71/75 split in Walton at around 1:30 a.m. The wreck involved a spill. One of the trucks carrying a large steel roll lost its load.
Dispatchers said two people were transported to area hospitals with injuries which were believed to be non-life threatening.
The highway reopened just before 7:00 a.m.
