Two Juveniles Arrested for Possessing a Weapon at School

The incident happened Monday at a northern Kentucky high school

(Boone County, Ind.) - On Tuesday afternoon, the Boone County Sheriff's Office received a report about a Ryle High School student that was seen by another student possessing a firearm on school grounds. 

Upon receiving the report, deputies quickly identified two suspects and corroborated witness accounts of the incident. Both juvenile offenders were taken into custody and have been criminally charged. 

Deputies determined that this was an isolated incident and is not connected to any known threats or plans to harm students or staff. 

The two juvenile offenders were taken to the Campbell County Regional Juvenile Detention Center
