(Ripley County, Ind.) - Two people were hospitalized following a crash on State Road 129 over the weekend.
Ripley County Sheriff's deputies responded to the crash on Sunday afternoon near the intersection of County Road 1100 north near Batesville.
Deputies say a 16-year-old from Greensburg was traveling westbound on CR 1100 when the driver failed to yield at the intersection of SR 129 and collided with a pickup truck, driven by Gerry Burnett, 60, of Holton.
The collision caused Burnett's vehicle to roll before coming to a rest on its wheels. The teenager's vehicle went off the roadway and struck a lawn mower that was being operated by Thomas Miller, 64, of Batesville.
Burnett, along, with his passenger, Wanda Burnett, had to be extricated from the vehicle. They were both transported to Margaret Mary Health with non-life-threatening injuries.
Everyone else involved was treated and released at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation by the Ripley County Sheriff's Office.
