Two Hurt In Batesville Crash

The wreck happened Wednesday on State Road 46.

(Batesville, Ind.) – Two drivers were injured when a vehicle rear-ended another on State Road 46 in Batesville on Wednesday, May 23.

Batesville Police responded to the crash on S.R. 46 at Tekulve Avenue at around 8:50 a.m.

Officers determined a vehicle driven by Abby Jones, 38, of Batesville, was stopped in eastbound traffic attempting to turn north onto Tekulve when another vehicle driven by Emily Anderson, 40, also of Batesville, rear-ended it.

Jones was taken by Batesville EMS to Margaret Mary Health with minor injuries.

Anderson was treated at the scene.
