The event happens Saturday in Lawrenceburg.
(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lane restrictions will be in place on U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg for the annual Lauren's Burg Hill 5K and 5-mile Run/Walk.
The event takes place Saturday, June 14.
U.S. 50 westbound will have lane restrictions starting at 5:00 a.m. through 9:00 a.m. The restrictions will begin at the entrance of Hollywood Casino and continue to State Road 48. There will also be lane restrictions on the east side of State Road 48 to Bielby Road.
Registration remains open for the event. Cost is $30. A virtual option is available for $25. Both the 5K and 5-mile events will start at 7:22 a.m.
In honor of Lauren Hill, proceeds from the event support Lauren's Legacy to assist children and families fighting DIPG, the deadliest form of childhood brain cancer.
