(Boone County, Ky.) – Motorists are being advised of traffic impacts this weekend in Northern Kentucky.
According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, there will be a single-lane closure on Interstate 275 westbound from the Boone/Kenton County line to west of KY 237 beginning Friday at 7:00 p.m.
This will become a double-lane closure at 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. Sunday, June 30.
Crews will be installing permanent tape and inlaid markers throughout the project area. This work is part of the on-going diamond grinding project on I-25 between the Boone/Kenton County line to west of the KY 237 (Hebron Exit).
Motorists should expect delays if traveling on I-275 westbound and are encouraged to find alternative routes.
