UPDATE: Three Dearborn County Roads Slated To Close This Week

Luckily, the closures won't last more than a couple days.

Dearborn County Engineer Todd Listerman says the Chesterville Road closure has been rescheduled to begin at around 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 22. The road will reopen by 8:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24.

 

Original story published Friday, August 16:

(Dearborn County, Ind.) – The Dearborn County Highway Department has announced three road closures for next week.

White Plains Road will close on Monday, August 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for culvert installation. The closure will occur approximately a quarter mile from State Road 48 just past the intersection of Norkus Road.

Starting Tuesday, August 20, Holt Road will close at 7:00 a.m. The closure will continue to 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21. The highway department says crews will be working on a bridge repair project west of North Hogan Road.

Chesterville Road will close at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20 just west of Stitts Hill Road. The closure will last until 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22 while crews complete a bridge repair project.

There will be no through traffic at all three locations.

All work is weather dependent.
