(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Multiple agencies spent a portion of their Christmas Day fighting a structure fire near the entrance to Hidden Valley Lake.

The fire broke out on Stateline Road at intersection of Stephens Road on Christmas morning, impacting Sibcy Cline's Lawrenceburg branch office, Denese's Boutique and Civista Bank.

Lawrenceburg and Greendale fire departments were assisted at the scene by, Aurora, Bright, Sunman, Miller York, Manchester, Harrison, and Whitewater Township fire departments.

"We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Lawrenceburg and Greendale Fire Departments and all first responders who worked swiftly and tirelessly on the scene, as well as to the many community members who have reached out with support, kindness, and offers to help," reads a statement from Sibcy Cline.

The Sibcy Cline Harrison office is providing office space for the Lawrenceburg agents so they can continue their work without missing a beat.

Denese's Boutique left the following message on their Facebook page:

"As most of you know, due to a fire we lost our sweet little Boutique yesterday. Our hearts are completely shattered. Please say a prayer for Daryl and his Sibcy team and Brenda and her Civista team. They were the best neighbors I could’ve asked for. We meet with the Fire Marshal Monday and hopefully we’ll start to get some answers. Thank you to everyone for the calls and messages and a special thank you to those wonderful people that comforted me while I watched our building burn down. We’ll be back! Not sure when or where, but we’ll be back."

Due to the fire, Civista’s Stateline Branch in Lawrenceburg is temporarily closed until further notice.

At this time, they will not have access to the branch until at least Monday, December 29, pending completion of the Fire Marshal’s inspection. Safe deposit boxes at the Stateline Branch are secure, but not accessible at this time. Once access is permitted, Civista Bank will provide clear next steps and communicate directly with affected customers.

Customers are welcome to visit the nearby US 50 and Walnut Street branch locations for in-person banking. Digital banking, mobile deposit, ATMs, and debit card access remain available.
