The Links at Rising Star Casino Resort Celebrates 25 Years of Golf

In honor of the Links' silver anniversary, the course is offering a special rate and giveaways.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Links at Rising Star Casino Resort proudly marks its 25th anniversary in 2025, celebrating a quarter-century as one of the region’s premier golf destinations. Since opening in 2000, The Links has welcomed thousands of golfers to experience its unique Scottish links-style design along the scenic Ohio River Valley.

Designed by renowned golf course architect Tim Liddy, The Links features bent grass fairways and greens, long waste bunkers, winding lakes, and rolling terrain. The 18-hole course stretches over 6,800 yards from the back tees, while offering multiple teeing areas to accommodate golfers of all skill levels.

“For 25 years, The Links has provided an experience that combines the beauty of the Ohio River Valley with the traditions of true links golf,” said JP Okuda, Golf Course Manager and Club Professional. “We’re proud of the course’s history and the countless memories it has created for our guests, and we look forward to many more years of play.”

In addition to the course itself, The Links provides guests with a full-service experience, including a pro shop, locker rooms with showers, and the 19th Hole snack bar and patio. Over the years, it has become a favorite for both local players and visitors from across the region.

Special 25th Anniversary Rate & Giveaway

In honor of the Links' silver anniversary, the course is offering a $25 rate for 18-holes after 1 pm any Monday through Friday in October 2025. In addition, each guest who makes a cash tee time with the special rate will also receive an entry ticket into a drawing. On October 31 at 7 pm, the Links will award (1) 2026 annual membership, (2) 25th Anniversary Golf Bags and several other anniversary prizes.
