Switzerland Co. Sheriff's Office To Reduce Public Access

These actions have been set to be compliant with new guidelines.

(Switzerland Co., Ind.) - Starting Monday, March 23, the Switzerland County Sheriff office will attempt to reduce public access into the facility. 

Sheriff Brian Morton announced that due to new guidelines, the office has set new days and times for certain services. 

All Handgun Permits, Tax Warrant Payments, Notices to Quit, and Crash Report requests will only be processed Monday's and Thursday's from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. 

It is also recommended that anyone utilizing the lobby inmate visitation booths to schedule and conduct visits from home using mobile devices. 

Deputies will continue to respond to all calls for service and maintain a normal patrol schedule.
