Swiss Wine Festival Returns to Vevay August 22-25

There is something for everyone to enjoy at the festival.

(Vevay, Ind.) – Wine, music, rides, food, and more will highlight the annual Swiss Wine Festival.

The four-day event takes place Thursday, August 22 through Sunday, August 25 in Vevay.

This year, gate admission is free.

The Wine & Spirits Tasting Pavilion will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Cost is $25 per person, which includes tasting to several wineries including Ertel Cellars Winery and Holtkamp Winery.

Advanced ride tickets are available for $22 (normally $25) at Switzerland County Tourism, JCS Designs, and the Swiss Wine Festival Office.

The Swiss Wine Festival will also feature three nights of live music. The live music schedule is as follows:

Thursday, August 22

  • Misty Creek Band (Beer Garden, 8-midnight)

Friday, August 23

  • Rock Steady Band (Beer Garden, 10:30 PM-1:30 AM)
  • Cody Ikerd and the Sidewinders (Main Stage, 8-10 PM)

Saturday, August 24

  • The Classic Rock Experience (Main Stage, 6 PM)
  • Thunderstuck: America’s AC/DC Tribute (Festival Stage, 8-10 PM)
  • Past Our Prime (Beer Garden, 10 PM-1:30 AM)

Other festivities include the Swiss Wine Festival 5K and Swiss Wine Parade.
