Noah Mersmann is competing at a high level in the National Geographic Society's GeoBee.

(St. Leon, Ind.) - A Sunman-Dearborn Middle School student is a geography whiz.
Noah Mersmann has qualified for the 2019 National Geographic GeoBee State Competition. The 7th grader will compete with up to 99 other fourth through eighth grade students in the statewide competition on March 29.
If he wins the state GeoBee, Mersmann will receive a $1,000 prize and the opportunity to compete at the national GeoBee at the National Geographic Society’s headquarters in Washington, D.C. in May.
Noah is the son of Jeff and Rachel Mersmann.
