(Napoleon, Ind.) - Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Enneking Pressure Cleaning plans to begin work next week on S.R. 48 to complete a bridge deck overlay project in Ripley County.
On or after Tuesday, August 15, S.R. 48 will close for approximately two weeks at the bridge over Laughery Creek. The bridge is located 1.7 miles east of S.R. 229, east of Napoleon. During the closure, drivers will be routed along the official detour, which follows S.R. 129, S.R. 350 and U.S. 421.
INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
