Election Day is Tuesday, November 3

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Secretary of State Diego Morales is encouraging state employees, students and veterans to serve as poll workers during the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, November 3.
Election Day is an official state holiday in Indiana, providing many state employees with an opportunity to give back to their communities while helping ensure elections run smoothly, securely and efficiently.
Secretary Morales is also calling on Indiana’s veterans to answer the call to serve once again.
“Our veterans have already answered the call to serve our country, and now we’re asking them to serve once again. Their attention to detail, dedication to duty, and experience are exactly the qualities we need at our polling locations. I also encourage state employees to take advantage of their day off and step up to serve. Our elections depend on dedicated Hoosiers who are willing to ensure a successful Election Day,” said Diego Morales, Indiana Secretary of State.
For students, Indiana’s Hoosier Hall Pass Program allows eligible 16-and-17-year-old high school students to serve as poll workers on Election Day. The program provides students with a unique, hands-on opportunity to gain valuable civic knowledge and experience, and contribute directly to the election process.
Hoosiers are also encouraged to get out and vote.
