His term is good for three years.

INDIANAPOLIS - Indiana Governor Mike Braun has reappointed Rob Moorhead to the Early Learning Advisory Committee.
The South Ripley Schools Superintendent was first appointed to the committee by former Governor Eric Holcomb in June of 2022. His current term will expire October 31, 2028.
The Early Learning Advisory Committee works to ensure that children ages birth to 8 years and their families have access to affordable, high-quality early childhood education programs that keep children healthy, safe, and learning.
The primary responsibilities of the ELAC are to conduct periodic statewide needs assessments, enhance the infrastructure of two- and four-year public and private higher education institutions, promote collaboration with federally and state funded child development and early childhood education programs and services, and make recommendations for the Early Education Matching Grant program.
Aside from being reappointed to the ELAC, Moorhead was named the President of the Indiana Association of Public School Superintendents this past June.
