South Dearborn Schools to Remain Closed Through Thursday

(Aurora, Ind.) - South Dearborn Community School Corporation has been advised to remain closed through Thursday April 10. 

The closure is due to continued flooding and subsequent debris in the area that has made travel for difficult or impassable for residents within the school district. 

All schools will be on a synchronous eLearning schedule on Wednesday and Thursday. 

A decision about classes on Friday will be communicated on Thursday. 

The Flood Warning that is currently in effect is scheduled to be lifted on Thursday when the Ohio River is expected to fall below flood stage.
