UPDATE: Fatal Crash Closed SR 56 Overnight

Ohio County Sheriff's deputies are investigating a crash which closed State Road 56 late Tuesday night.

Update published at 10:13 a.m.:

Ohio County Sheriff Glen Potts says the wreck on State Road 56 on Tuesday night involved a fatality.

The victim's name has not been released.

Indiana State Police are leading the accident investigation. The agency could release more information soon.

(Ohio County, Ind.) - A serious crash occurred in northern Ohio County late Tuesday night

The wreck was reported at around 10:40 p.m. on State Road 56 near Henschen Road.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Office and Indiana State Police are investigating the crash.
