(Osgood, Ind.) - Southeastern Indiana REMC has officially moved into its new administrative building. The REMC headquarters campus, located at 712 South Buckeye Street in Osgood, has undergone several changes over the past year. The building project included the demolition of the old training center, mechanic’s garage, and a couple of storage buildings and the new construction of a mechanic’s garage, storage building, and administrative building.

“The facilities are not extravagant, but there is a marked improvement in the energy efficiency, lighting, and technology of all of the newly constructed spaces.” said General Manager Keith Mathews. “We are still getting used to the layout of the new administrative building, but we are already seeing an improvement in the collaboration and workflow of our team.”

Demolition of the old office space is set to begin the first week of July. This will create additional parking space for employees and keep heavy truck traffic away from the public entrance, parking, and exits.
