Seven Earn ORVC Weekly Honors

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Seven student athletes have earned weekly honors from the Ohio River Valley Conference. 

The ORVC Report for August 24-29 was released this week. 

Jac-Cen-Del's Brynlie Simon is the ORVC Volleyball Player of the Week. Simon totaled 43 kills, 12 blocks, 90 percent serve rate, 17 digs and seven aces in three matches. She also surpassed 500 career kills. 

The Boys Soccer Player of the Week went to Weston Cumberworth. The Rising Sun star tallied six goals and two assists in two matches. For the season, Cumberworth has 13 goals, including four hat tricks. 

Shawe Memorial's Justice Kuntz is the Girls Soccer Player of the Week. She recorded two goals and seven assists in two matches.

Nautia Williams of Jac-Cen-Del is the Girls Golfer of the Week. Williams carded a 50 in back-to-back rounds at North Branch.

The Cross Country Top Performers of the Week are Harper Green (Southwestern), Savannah Nussbaum (Southwestern), and Cohenn Hambrick (Shawe Memorial)
