SEI READI To Host Virtual Business Focus Group This Week

Businesses and industries are encouraged to register online.

(Indiana, Southeast) - SEI READI, Inc. announced today its plan with Thomas P. Miller & Associates (TPMA) to host a focus group for regional businesses on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 8:30am-10:00am. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) is a transformational statewide initiative dedicating $500 million in appropriations to promote economic development through investments related to quality of life, entrepreneurship, innovation, and talent attraction. The focus group for regional businesses will provide an additional opportunity for private sector employers to share ideas, collaborate on potential projects, and provide support for the effort.

"The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has called for READI regions to engage with their businesses and employers, many of whom operate regionally and hire regionally. We believe this group will have unique and highly applicable projects and ideas that should be included in Southeast Indiana’s new regional development plan. We want and need to hear from them,” said Jon Bond, President & CEO of the Switzerland County Economic Development Corporation and a member of the Southeast Indiana Growth Alliance.

Businesses and Industries in Switzerland, Ohio, Dearborn, Ripley, Franklin, and Union counties in Indiana are encouraged to register at: https://forms.gle/2sfRai8xda8tvEvU8.
