South Dearborn HS Turf Field Approved 4-3 At Tuesday's School Board Meeting

Work to begin this project could start as early as July 1.

(Aurora, Ind.) - The South Dearborn Community School Corporation approved the addition of a new turf multi-purpose field following a generous donation of $500,000 from Jerry Backman.  

After a narrow 4-3 vote, it became official that South Dearborn High School will be the next school to install a turf field. 

Along with the approval of the turf multi-purpose field, South Dearborn High School will also receive updates to the pool, auditorium and performing arts.
