(Aurora, Ind.) - The dance season is here and a group of local dancers have set their sights on Nationals.

Roni's Dance Company in Aurora has a team of approximately 37 dancers, ranging in age from 8 to 18, who come from Dearborn, Ripley, Ohio, and Switzerland counties.

These dancers perform at various events throughout the year, including the Aurora Farmers Fair, at local nursing homes, and at high school basketball games.

As Roni's Dance Company prepares for their 2025-26 season, The Spotlight Dance Boosters, a non-profit organization dedicated to support the talented dancers, are seeking community sponsors to help their mission of reaching nationals next summer in Myrtle Beach.

Through scholarships and financial assistance, The Spotlight Dance Boosters help cover competition fees, costume expenses, and prop costs for families throughout the Tri-State area.

Roni's Dance Company has had dancers go on to perform with the San Antonio Spurs and the Cincinnati Bengals. Others have become coaches, choreographers, top athletes, honor roll students, and future leaders in every kind of career you can imagine.
