Road Closures for 9th Annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS

The event takes place Sunday, May 4 in downtown Lawrenceburg.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The 9th annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS Car Show happens Sunday in downtown Lawrenceburg.

Registration is $20 per vehicle and will take place from 9:00 a.m. to noon. All participants are asked to enter via Walnut Street.

Spectators can enjoy the car show at no cost, but can support the cause through live auctions, purchasing merchandise, or giving free will donation.

The event will run through the awards ceremony, which is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

There will be no parking along the car show route starting Sunday, May 4 at 4:00 a.m. Vehicles remaining in the car show route at 6:00 a.m. on Sunday will be subject to being towed at the owner’s expense.

The following roads and parking lots will be closed on Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.:

  • Walnut Street between Todd Lane and High Street
  • West High Street closed to Dearborn County Jail
  • East High Street to east side of Civic Park between the alley at Short and Elm streets
  • Vine Street from High to the alley between High and Williams
  • Mary Street between High and William
  • Mural lot on High Street
  • City Hall (food vendors)
  • Community Center and Todd Creech Park
  • Behind the public library
  • Parking lot across from the courthouse

Free public parking will be available in the Ivy Tech parking garage.
