Rising Sun WWII Vets' Son Organizes Card Shower Ahead of 100th Birthday

All community members are invited to send a birthday card in the mail.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) – A milestone birthday is right around the corner for a local World War II veteran.

Leroy Guard, of Rising Sun, will turn 100 in three weeks.

In anticipation of the big event, his son, Mark, is organizing a card shower to celebrate his father.

Even if you have never met Leroy Guard, you are invited to send him a birthday card.

Cards may be sent to 220 S. Poplar Street, Apt. 5, Rising Sun, IN 47040.
