Ripley County Community Foundation Supports Ivy Tech Batesville

The funds from the RCCF will support nursing scholarships.

(Ripley County, Ind.) The Bill Gutzwiller and Janet Bozzelli Fund was established to support local students who plan to pursue degrees of higher education. In April, the Ripley County Community Foundation awarded $900 to the Ivy Tech Foundation with the purpose of supporting nursing scholarships. 

“Scholarships have become a vital component of our organization because of the ever rising cost of college tuition”, stated Amy Streator, RCCF Executive Director. Streator further noted “thanks to the generosity of donors like Mr. Gutzwiller and Ms. Bozzelli, this scholarship will provide some students with the financial bump they needed to enroll in college.”

Anyone with a desire to support their community, school or favorite organization can donate to the Ripley County Community Foundation. Currently, all donations to RCCF endowment funds are eligible for a match, thanks to Lilly Endowment Inc.’s GIFT VII initiative. This matching opportunity has generated a great deal of interest and is available only while GIFT VII funds last.  Citizens and organizations can take advantage of this opportunity to start new funds or to grow the fund of their choice.  The Ripley County Community Foundation is located at 13 E.
