The crash took place early Sunday morning in Florence.
(Florence, Ky.) - Florence Police were dispatched to a vehicle collision on Houston Road early Sunday morning.
The preliminary investigation determined that a head-on collision occurred near Marydale.
Mayra Ruiz, 75, of Florence, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second driver, whose identity has not been released, was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Florence Police Department Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this collision.
