Ripley Co. Sheriff's Office Looking for Man Who Led Pursuit in Stolen Vehicle

The high speed chase took place Sunday in Jennings and Ripley counties.

(Ripley County, Ind.) - The Ripley County Sheriff's Office is seeking information about a suspect that led a pursuit on Sunday. 

The pursuit started in Jennings County and continued eastbound on U.S. 50 into Ripley County. According to the Ripley County Sheriff's Office, the suspect was driving a stolen vehicle and fled at high speeds. 

The suspect ditched the vehicle near Crossroads Restaurant after stop sticks were successfully deployed. 

The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public to be on the lookout for a skinny black male with short dreadlocks, last seen dressed in a black shirt.

If you have any information call 812-689-5555. If you believe you see the suspect, do not approach him, but immediately call 911.
