(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Demolition took place this week at Jeff Wyler Chrysler Jeep Dodge of Lawrenceburg.
The car dealership sustained damage in a fire in early February, causing damage to the service area and smoke damage to the front office and show room.
Remarkably, the Jeff Wyler team was back to work the next day after the fire, and has since moved into a temporary office.
Ron Goderwis, head of the sales staff, tells Eagle Country 99.3 that demolition clean up is currently taking place. Next up, is the removal of the old parking lot and the concrete underneath, which will allow for the new inventory lot to be raised over three feet to be closer to the road. A new expanded entrance way will also be installed.
Other improvements include a new, state-of-the-art service building, which is currently up and running, and eventually, a new showroom.
Goderwis extended his thanks to Kelsey Chevrolet for being "good neighbors" by allowing Jeff Wyler service team members to use two service bays to keep them working following the February fire.
The timeline for a grand re-opening is currently estimated to be five to six months away. In the meantime, Jeff Wyler of Lawrenceburg is open for sales and service.
