(West Harrison, Ind.) - A convicted sex offender is accused of failing to register with authorities.

Dearborn-Ohio County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens says Jeffrey Sess, 28, of West Harrison, failed to show up for a yearly sex offender registration with the sheriff’s department in January.

Deputies had gone to Sess’ last address on North Dearborn Road only to find that he no longer lived there. Sess was required to report his change of address upon moving.

Sess has been charged with Failure to Register with a Prior Conviction (level 5 felony). He is held at the Dearborn County Law Enforcement Center.
