(Burlington, Ky.) – Police are hoping the public can assist in identify the suspects in a recent home invasion and robbery in northern Kentucky.

Boone County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 5900 block of Ethan Drive in Burlington on Saturday around 1:24 p.m.

Deputies say 21-year-old male, his mother and a 9-year-old sibling were in the home when they were abruptly confronted by four black males who had arrived in a silver, Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The armed suspects entered through an unlocked garage door and allegedly held the victims at gunpoint.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects demanded cash, ransacked the home and demanded keys to a Toyota Supra that was parked in the garage.

The 21-year-old victim attempted to reason with the suspects but was “pistol whipped” as a result. He was transported to St. Elizabeth in Florence for treatment.

Shortly after the assault, deputies say a commotion ensued inside the residence and one suspect allegedly fired a shot through the ceiling. No injuries were reported as result of the gunshot.

The suspects would find a key to a 2013, dark gray, Dodge Charger that was parked in the driveway and fled the area in the Charger and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Deputies say the suspects are described as young and were wearing black jackets, beanies and partial face coverings. The stolen Dodge Charger bears Kentucky registration: 224PRY.

Anyone with information about the incident, the suspects or the stolen Charger should contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office at 859-334-3651.
