(Batesville, Ind.) - The Batesville Police Department has made another arrest in connection with a drug search carried out last month.
Police executed a search warrant at a home at 105 East Hillenbrand Avenue on Tuesday, March 21. Three people in the residence were arrested that day: Samantha Siegle, 21; Kenneth Lecher, 20; and Taylor Jones, 19.
An arrest warrant was also issued for Ashley Gorusch, 26, of Batesville. She turned herself in to authorities on Tuesday, April 2 for a warrant on a charge of Unlawful Possession of a Syringe (Class D felony).
The charges were filed by Ripley County prosecutor Ric Hertel following an investigation conducted by Batesville officers.
Batesville Police say Gorsuch was previously arrested on two counts of Dealing in a Narcotic Drug (Class A felony) on September 5, 2012. She bonded out of the Ripley County Jail on September 14 after posting a $4,050 bond.
Gorsuch is once again incarcerated at the Ripley County Jail, this time under a $2,050 bond.
