By Mike Perleberg (Florence, Ky.) - A woman was found dead in a vehicle in Florence Thursday. According to Boone County Sheriff’s investigators, witnesses allegedly saw a vehicle run a traffic light at Weaver Road and Sam Neace Drive, then crash at about 1:08 p.m. Deputies were called to the scene as a reported suicide. Arriving on scene, they found a woman in the driver’s seat dead from an apparent suicide. The 29-year-old woman from Walton may have committed suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot, investigators said. Her husband was reportedly in the car with her at the time of the shooting. Names are being withheld until family has been notified. Sheriff’s department spokesman Tom Scheben said detectives have launched a full investigation into the incident.
