(Batesville, Ind.) - First responders from Batesville responded to separate incidents along State Road 46 over the weekend.
On Friday afternoon, Batesville Police were called to an accident involving a semi-truck and an SUV on State Road 46 and Pearl Street.
Police were told by witnesses that the semi was driving through the intersection and was eastbound on State Road 46 when the driver failed to yield the right of way to the SUV that was making a right turn onto State Road 46.
Both vehicles sustained significant damage, but no injuries were reported.
On Saturday, Batesville Fire was dispatched to a vehicle fire along State Road 46 at Tekulve Road. The fire was quickly extinguished. No injuries were reported.
