Patching, Flaggers Coming To U.S. 50 In Ripley County

A pavement patching project will cause delays on U.S. 50 starting September 10.

(Versailles, Ind.) - Motorists who use U.S. 50 between Versailles and State Road 101 will encounter construction delays starting Monday, September 10.

Dave O'Mara Contractor will start asphalt patching east of Versailles and work to the east to State Road 101, and back west from State Road 101 to Versailles.  Once in Versailles, patching will continue to the west to the Jennings-Ripley County line.

Once patching is complete, milling and resurfacing will commence.

The contractor says traffic will be maintained using flaggers and temporary lane closures. Changeable message boards have been placed to warn motorist of flagging operations.

The project, weather permitting, is to be completed by November 15.
