(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Parkside Market has closed.

Phyllis Knueven announced Sunday on Facebook that she just wrapped up her final week at Parkside Market.

"Wow… what a week! We just wrapped up our final week at Parkside, and my heart is so full looking back over the last 5 years," said Knueven.

The unique, locally owned deli, bakery, and store first opened at 98 E. High Street in 2021, offering delicious meals and baked goods to the community.

Beyond serving food and baked goods, Knueven was actively involved in supporting The Community Project's initiative to feed hot meals to the homeless. At the end of each day, she would selflessly pack up leftover specials, hot soups, and coffee to donate.

As for what is next, Knueven says she will focus on catering, new adventures, and maybe even a little vacation time.

"Parkside was never just about food, it was about people. And because of you, it was something truly special," said Knueven.
