P.A.W.S. of Dearborn Co. to Host Wag 'n Purr Social

The fundraising event happens October 25.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Partners for Animal Welfare of Dearborn County (P.A.W.S.) will host a fundraising event on Saturday, October 25 at Willie's Sports Cafe in Hidden Valley. 

The Wag 'n Purr Social will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. featuring a dinner, silent auction and various raffles. Tickets are available for $45. 

P.A.W.S. is a nonprofit organization responsible for providing food, shelter, and medical care for the unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats in Dearborn County. Since the Humane Center opened in 2011, P.A.W.S. has placed more than 15,000 dogs and cats in "forever" homes. 

Each year, P.A.W.S. must raise more than $250,000 to operate the Humane Center, where at any given time, may be caring for up to 200 animals. 

P.A.W.S. is seeking item donations or gift certificates for their upcoming event. Cash donations will also be accepted. Donors will have their name featured on the P.A.W.S. website and Facebook page.
