(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Despite poor weather, hundreds of vehicles entered the 9th annual Cruisin to a Cure for ALS Car Show on Sunday.
Event organizer Logan Lawrence says over 250 vehicles entered the show which took place in downtown Lawrenceburg.
While the fundraising total has yet to be announced, Lawrence hopes the event was able to raise around $30,000 or more for the ALS Association to assist families battling the disease and for research.
Over the past eight years, the Cruisin to a Cure for ALS has raised over $260,000.
"I can’t say thank enough to everyone that braved the weather today to still support 9th Annual Cruisin to A Cure for ALS in memory of Carlos Lawrence. Despite rain just about all day, we had over 250 cars and still raised lots of money for the ALS Association Indiana Chapter. I could not be happier with the results given the circumstances," said Lawrence.
