Indiana State Police responded to the crash Monday morning in Decatur County.

(Decatur County, Ind.) – Indiana State Police have released findings from their initial investigation of a fatal two-vehicle accident that occurred early Monday morning.
Troopers responded to the accident on U.S. 421 in southern Decatur County shortly after 8:00 a.m.
The initial investigation indicated that Noah Seals, 26, of Osgood, was traveling southbound when for an unknown reason his vehicle crossed the centerline into the path of an oncoming vehicle, driven by Patrick Stroud, 38, of Vevay.
According to an ISP news release, the vehicle collided nearly head-on.
Seals sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Stroud sustained minor injuries.
Toxicology results are pending although alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
