Osgood Man Injured In Fall From Tree Stand

Indiana Conservation Officers say the incident happened around 5:30 Sunday evening.

(Osgood, Ind.) – An Osgood man was injured after a fall from a tree stand.

Indiana Conservation Officers responded to the 9000 block of West County Road 500 North near Osgood around 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Upon arriving at the scene, responders located Peyton Campos, 22, who had fell approximately 21 feet from an elevated tree stand.

Campos was initially treated at the scene and was then airlifted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

The extent of his injuries is unknown at this time, and the cause of the fall remains under investigation.
