(Franklin County, Ind.) – One person was injured after two vehicles collided head-on in Franklin County Friday evening.
Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the crash on New Trenton Road near Bower Road around 5:20 p.m.
Deputies say Ryan B. Barrett, 24, of Brookville was eastbound on New Trenton Road when he and a westbound vehicle driven by Earl D. Perry, 83, of Cleves, Ohio, met at the crest of a hill in the roadway and collided head-on.
Perry was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. His status was not released.
Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by New Trenton Volunteer Fire Department, Drewersburg EMS #1 and Responder 24.
