One Dead, Another Injured In Harrison Ave. Crash

The accident happened Friday morning around 9:10 a.m.

(Whitewater Township, Oh.) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning in Whitewater Township.

Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil says the accident occurred around 9:10 a.m. on the 9500 block of Harrison Avenue near Interstate 74.

Frederick J. Strothman, 66, was eastbound on Harrison Avenue and exiting a righthand curve when he lost control of his vehicle and collided with an oncoming vehicle, driven by Jason A. Bosch, 43.

Investigators say Strothman was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bosch was transported to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
