(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Two Olympic medalists will return home to Lawrenceburg this weekend.
Nick Goepper and Justin Schoenefeld will be at Perfect North Slopes on Sunday, February 27 for a welcome home party.
Photograph opportunities and autograph signings will begin at 3:00 p.m.
Goepper captured his third Olympic medal earlier this month, winning silver in the Freeski Slopestyle event in Beijing. The Lawrenceburg native medaled in the same event in 2018 (silver) and 2014 (bronze).
Schoenefeld returns home with a gold medal around his neck. He, along with his girlfriend, Ashley Caldwell, and Christopher Lillis, won the Olympics’ inaugural mixed team aerials event.
He also showed out well in the individual aerials event, placing fifth.
