Ohio's Statewide Tornado Drill Happens Wednesday

Sirens and the Ohio EAS will be sounded at 9:50 a.m. on March 20.

(Hamilton County, Oh.) - Hoosiers did it in Tuesday. On Wednesday, March 20, Ohioans are being encouraged to practice their tornado preparedness plans.

The Ohio Emergency Management Agency has scheduled the annual statewide tornado drill for 9:50 a.m. Warning sirens will be tested along with Ohio's Emergency Alert System. 

The National Weather Service says there were 18 tornadoes in Ohio last year.
