(Dearborn County, Ind.) - Early Sunday morning, Indiana State Troopers arrested a Cincinnati, Ohio woman after she drove intoxicated westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-74 in Dearborn County.
The incident resulted in a collision with a state trooper’s vehicle.
Shortly after 1:00 am, multiple troopers patrolling on I-74 overheard a Dearborn County Sheriff’s Office dispatch of a 2020 Toyota Camry, later determined to be driven by Erin Dowers, age 35, Cincinnati, Ohio, traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-74 near the Indiana/Ohio State Line. Other callers continued to report the wrong way driver as the vehicle continued westbound.
