Ohio County Fair Runs Through Friday

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Ohio County Fair is underway in Rising Sun.

The fair runs through Friday at the Ohio County Fairgrounds and includes plenty of shows and contests, Stock the Trailer, and Pork Chop Dinner.

Stock the Trailer will be taking place through Friday. Fair attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to the trailer at the livestock show area.

Farm Credit Mid-America launched the Fight the Hunger Stock the Trailer challenge in 2021 to help feed communities to help feed those in need while supporting junior fairs. All participating county fairs will receive $500. Additional prizes will be awarded based on total pounds donated.

Ohio County Farm Bureau will host their Pork Chop Dinner on Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. or until sold out. Price is $15 per dinner, which includes pork chop, baked beans, homemade macaroni and cheese, and bottled water. Desserts will be sold separately.
