Nominations can be turned into the Character Council.

(Undated) - Several local students and adults will be recognized at the seventh annual Heroes of Character celebration Oct. 25 planned by the Character Council, which serves Greater Cincinnati, northern Kentucky and southeastern Indiana (Ripley, Franklin, Dearborn, Ohio and Switzerland counties) and partners with local government, education, business and media.
The mission is to foster character development in children and adults as a foundation for success.
Nominations may be submitted by teachers, co-workers, coaches or friends, according to Safe Passage community outreach/communications director Mary Mattingly.
The council is asking for a brief description that conveys examples of his or her exemplary behavior and how behavior and disposition show character qualities in action.
Nomination forms are available at the Character Council website www.charactercincinnati.org.
