No Serious Injury In Ohio Co. Wreck

The crash happened Tuesday on Nelson Road.

(Ohio County, Ind.) – A vehicle ended up in a creekbed along Nelson Road in Ohio County Tuesday afternoon.

Ohio County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of Nelson Road and Salem Ridge Road for an accident with unknown injuries at around 4:47 p.m.

Deputies determined Taylor B. Pittman, 22, of Rising Sun, was driving a 2007 Honda Pilot northbound on Nelson Road when he lost control. After crossing the southbound lane, the vehicle came to a rest in a creek.

Pittman refused medical treatment at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.

Ohio County EMS and the Dearborn County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
