(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Rising Sun Schools has announced new roles for three individuals.
At Tuesday night's school board meeting, Abby Carrigan was named principal of Rising Sun High School. She previously served as the assistant principal and athletic director.
Carrigan will be giving up the athletic director role, which now belongs to Jason Barth. Barth will also take over as assistant principal of Rising Sun High School. He previously served in both of those roles at the elementary school.
Emily Warner, who currently serves as a counselor at the elementary school, has been appointed the Dean of Students at Ohio County Elementary Middle School.
"Each of these individuals brings a strong commitment to our students, staff, and community. We are excited for the positive impact they will make in their new roles," reads a statement from Rising Sun Schools.
